About Us
The Michigan Treasure Hunters club is celebrating its 50th year in 2024 as an active club and is one of the largest clubs of its kind in the United States. Whether you're a seasoned detecting pro, or a relative newbie to the hobby, we invite you to join us at one of our monthly meetings for fun and friendship. Membership to our club comes with many annual "perks", such as private and club-sponsored hunts, give-aways and the ability to interact with over 1000 years of collective metal detecting experience from our current members.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
Renewal costs (with an emailed Prober newsletter) are $30; $45 if you would like the Prober newsletter mailed to you via USPS rather than emailed.
Renewal dues can be paid via check or money order and mailed to: Michigan Treasure Hunters, P.O. Box 510237, Livonia, MI 48151, or paid at any upcoming membership meeting.
Renewal dues can also be paid via paypal by clicking the appropriate renewal button at the bottom of the website.

-- TOKEN HUNT
All paid members of MTH are welcome to join us for our next monthly token hunt in 2024.
This hunt will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 1pm. Please plan on arriving up to 30 minutes early to check in and get situated. Should have some nice silver to find. $5 entry fee, and you must be a member of MTH to participate. Coins are seeded at a shallow depth, so small diggers are really all that is needed to retrieve your target.

MAY '24 MEETING - MAY 28
Come join us at our May monthly meeting - we'll be hosting a brain teaser/trivia night for our members which should test your knowledge on a host of topics. Prizes awarded, of course, to those teams that rise to the top.
We'll also have our normal Find of the Month and assorted drawings as well. Should be a good one - don't miss out!
JUNE MEETING - TRASH OR TREASURE? JUNE 25, 2024
Making a return this year will be our Trash or Treasure contest. Try out your metal detecting skills in determining whether a target is "trash" or "treasure". Compete against your fellow club members for some nice prizes.

Get ready to enjoy some ice cream at our annual ice cream social in July.
Share your recent detecting adventures with fellow detectorists, vote for Find of the Month, & win prizes! All while munching on some wonderful ice cream.
What could be better than that on a hot summer night?
ANNUAL FALL WEEKEND - SEPTEMBER 20-22, 2024
It's really never to early to talk about what we have planned for the Fall of 2024.
Reserve your spot for our annual Fall Weekend. This is a "wild" hunt that takes place within a short drive somewhere in Michigan or surrounding state. It's always a great time for those in attendance.
It's a full weekend of fun - gather on Friday for food and frivolity, hunt an old campground or similar all day Saturday, and finish up on Sunday!
There's a Find of the Weekend competition, prize drawings, games, food and of course - lots of fun!
Lodging and food is provided, plus all the hunting your body can manage. This is a member's only hunt - you must be a member of MTH (aged 18+) in order to participate. Cost is a reasonable $120 per hunter.

CAN-AM 2024
SEPTEMBER 28 - LIVONIA, MI
More details to follow - but mark your calendars - Saturday, September 28 is shaping up to be one heck of a good Can-Am Hunt! This is a seeded hunt that you don't want to miss.
Literally thousands of coins buried, hundreds of prizes given away, and lots of food and fellowship are just waiting for you. As a member of MTH, this is the signature hunt that you shouldn't miss.
Oh, and did I mention? The first two hunts of the day, with silver and gold prizes included, are absolutely free for all our paid members as a way of saying "Thank You" for your continued support throughout the year!! A nominal fee will net you a third hunt and the potential for many more valuable prizes.

Planning on renewing but you don't have access to a computer or printer? That's ok! A print version of the monthly newsletter will be mailed to you at your home address via the USPS. No problem!
